What We Gather When You Visit Our Site

We do give you the opportunity to contact us. We ask for you to provide us with personal information, such as your name, email address, and phone number, in exchange for activities or materials on the website.

MedeAnalytics collects web traffic information to assess the frequently traveled parts of the website and as input to future website enhancements. For example, we may monitor the number of visitors to the site and search engines and other sites where visitors are coming from. Importantly, aggregate statistical analysis means that MedeAnalytics reviews trends based on information as a whole, but does not do so in an effort to identify the individual identity of the visitor to the site.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personal information you submit while on our site.

We use session ID cookies.  A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser.   If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site will be limited.

MedeAnalytics collects the visitor's IP address, domain name (that the user is logged on from www.company.com, for example), referral data (the last URL a user visited before clicking to MedeAnalytics), as well as browser and platform type (a Microsoft browser on a Macintosh platform, for example). MedeAnalytics use this information to measure and monitor user traffic flows on our site.

MedeAnalytics and our third party digital advertising partners may also use other technologies such as cookies, clear gifs, and tags to analyze trends, administer the website, tracking users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by our partners on an individual and aggregated basis. We use cookies to remember users’ settings and for authentication. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our website, but your ability to use some features or areas of our website may be limited.

We use a marketing company to manage our advertising on other sites. This marketing company may use technologies such as cookies, clear gifs, and tags to gather information about your activities on this site and other sites in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests.  If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may opt-out by visiting http://preferences-mgr.truste.com/ (or if located in the European Union visit http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/).  We use Google AdSense to publish ads on other sites.  You may opt-out of the use of this cookie by visiting Google’s Advertising and Privacy page: http://www.google.com/settings/ads.

We also use a third party to show the videos we offer through the site.  This third party uses Local Shared Objects (LSOs) such as Flash cookies and Local Storage (LS) such as HTML5 to store your content and your video viewing preferences (e.g., volume).   Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5. To manage Flash cookies, please click here: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html.  LSOs are also used by MedeAnalytics to store your preferences.
